You may have already done this but I would examine closely the battery bay to ensure there isnt any debris. The connection is probably not solid / clean.

Dale, it might not be you! Is the battery showing red when in the mower? Do you have another tool to try the battery in? If so, that would be an easy way to tell if the problem lies with the battery or the tool.

I should add to double check that you have the handles fully extended and securely clipped.

Dale, let us know if it’s up and running?

I used my lawnmower 2101LP last week with the 7.5A battery.

Battery did not charge today on rapid charger.  My 5.0A battery charged easily.

7.5A battery was blinking its green light all last week while sitting on counter.

Defective?

A wild shot in the dark, but does the battery still work in the mower?  If so use it until the indicator turns red and then try charging the battery.

Paul, there seems to be others experiencing this same problem.

There was a reply from the Ego rep just two weeks ago that they are still looking into the problem.  I would suggest calling customer service.
