Mower wouldn't start but I found the Problem. Now I have a question about a loose wire.

I have just joined the community but have been enjoying my EGO Products most of the summer and fall!   I have the 16" chainsaw the 15" trimmer and the Hedge cutter.  I just recently bought the Backpack blower as well.  Great Products and well engineered!

I bought a used EGO 21" mower that was not working for parts.  I know all the usual permissive checks and went though them all.  I finally tore the mower down to take a look inside and in the process I found a torn wire harness with 3 wires coming from the handle that had been worn/broken right where they bend and enter the mower section.  I was able to repair the 3 wires and the mower now works!!  Cool!

The question I have is for the electrical minded folks here.   When removing the motor etc from the mower I found a wire running from the BMS module not hooked to anything?  It is a very skinny white wire in a black jacket.  From the size of it(tiny) I am thinking maybe a temp sensor or something?  There is a blue wire next to this wire on the back corner of the BMS.and Maybe it hooks to the motor somewhere but don't see any place that it might need to be hooked to it?

The motor has a larger red and black wire for the power but not sure what this small wire is?

Thanks for any replies I may receive and hope all has a great night!

Anyone have any ideas?
