Sorry to hear about your mower, Sandy! Which model do you have? Did it stop mid-mow or rather, not start up again after last use?

Sandy, did you check that the handle clamps are tight and seated. Block one of the rear wheels with your foot and pull up on the handle to see if you can get the handle to move up just a smidge and then verify the handle clamps are seated and tight. Fully charge the battery and then give another try mowing. Also, were you mowing in heavy grass and cutting pretty deep? Maybe the battery ran down quickly if you were sort of taxing the mower in that manner? Oh, and since it's a self propelled model do you mean the self propel stopped working, it stopped cutting, something else?

I went out and put battery back in and it started up engaged blade power light is back on. I haven't tried mowing yet but will in next couple of days. Thank you for all responding to emails. I'll keep you posted.

Maybe the battery got too hot and just needed to cool down.

my mower died again!   first time I was told the blade was dull. replaced blade. it ran again. now the grass is very low. battery charged, handle locked correctly and runs for 2 minutes and died. called got a rep in 5 minutes. now I take the mower again to HD they send it out.  IT TAKES 4 TO 6 WEEKS TO GET IT BACK !!! I AM GLAD EGO DOESN'T MAKE A CAR.  WE ALL WOULD BE  BE WALKING FOR A  MONTH AND A HALF.  BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS MOWER I READ ALL THE REVIEWS  SOUNDED LIKE IT WOULD BE THE ONE TO BUY.   LOOKING BACK ON THOSE REVIEWS THEY WERE ALL DONE RIGHT AFTER THEY BROUGHT IT HOME OR 6 WEEKS LATER.  READING THE COMMENTS HERE AFTER A YEAR  MAYBE TWO THEY JUST QUIT.  NOT HAPPY A HAPPY CUSTOMER . I HAD A WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD ADMIRING THE MOWER NOW IT'S A JOKE.
