Mower motor sounds like a bad bearing.

After mowing grass during the morning hours when the grass maybe had a tiny bit of moisture on it, it worked fine and was nice and quiet. I went to mow the grass again a couple weeks later, and noticed it sounds like a bearing is going out in the motor. I took the blade off and cannot locate a bearing (I assume its on the top end of the motor?). Has anyone else had this problem before? Solution? My issue is Ego says my mower is not under warranty because it wasnt purchased from the right dealer, even though it was bought brand new a year ago. Any help is much appreciated!!!

Wondering if you got snookered by an unauthorized EGO seller. With the blade off, did the motor shaft feel rough when turning it? If not, you might try sharpening and balancing the blade and see if that helps clear up the sound you are hearing.
