Not a bad idea. A lot of the cordless tool companies are offering workshop fans. A useful feature on some of them is the option to use either a battery or a regular outlet for power, that way you don't have to tie up a battery to use it where power is available.

Yes I have 3 Roybi 10inch fans that's battery or electric, but I wish it was bigger and more powerful. I just bought the Ego self propelled Lawn mower, blower , 15" weed eater and love the power the 56v makes. I was think they could make a awesome fan with 56 volts :)

Still hoping we get the emergency station first... integrated fan, LED area light, and USB power adapter.

I will never forget that feeling of looking at 6Ah of charged batteries that couldn't help me as the cell phone batteries got low and lantern flashlight died going without power for two days.

Except now I have 16Ah of batteries that still can't do squat in an emergency. They might help hold a tarp down I guess.

Best comment of the year. And, I couldn't agree more. I'm sitting on 25ah of batteries that can hold a tarp down and I can pull a mower in and use the led lights. Sigh. Love that idea David.

Don't blame Ego for your inability to stop hoarding batteries...

Kidding, of course. Some way of using Ego batteries to power "stuff" would be a very good idea.

Now seriously... stop buying batteries! :-)

Good point about using the mower for lights. Maybe the blower on low for a fan...

And thanks for the reassurance that 16Ah isn't too much. Although I still want a 5.0Ah to complete my collection.

You and blue are killing me. FYI I gave away 6ah today. It felt so. It was hard. I feel like I have 6ah less to live.

Bring on the power center. I could charge my iPad for a year maybe?

Ok how about a fan with led lights and 2 amp usb charger. Everyone wins with one new product. :)

Actually, I like this idea.  I'm usually blowing off stuff I see because it doesn't fit their market space, but a vac and fan sort of go with the flow.
