My husband is disabled and I've had repairs done to both rotator cuffs. We love your products; however, the trimmer weight gets heavy. A smaller push along type would be great for those of us with injuries or seniors who still own their home and maintain their landscaping. Thanks for your consideration.

Raylene, I understand, especially as I get older; I'm almost 70. The heavy commercial grade tools I used to use with ease isn't an option anymore. I converted to cordless for that reason as well as eliminating gas fumes and maintenance. However, EGO tools are built solid and the battery weight adds considerably, but still a good option for many. Not to necessarily persuade you to look elsewhere but there are several brands that are lighter and less rugged that may be more appropriate for your situation. I hesitate to mention competition here, but go talk with people at your local home improvement stores for guidance.

The trimmer with the carbon fiber shaft is pretty light when it's used with the 2.5 Ah battery, but i can see the advantage of having wheels to rest it on.
