Had the blower for about a month. Now it only runs for about 5 seconds and stops. If I disconnect the battery, then reinstall it, it will run for another 5 seconds. Battery is charged.  Charger indicates solid green charged.  The battery itself flashes on the blower when in use.  Not sure if that is normal or not.

Sounds like a warranty repair needed. Pretty sure the motor controllers on those have some issues. Not sure but i have a feeling. Generally it tends to fail on one of the first uses. Call up customer service.why the battery is flashing beats me. Is it flashing green? Or what color.

My 530 CFM blower would shut off almost immediately, but only with one of my four batteries. Worked fine with every other battery. A quick call to Ego had a replacement battery on its way to me the next day.

If you have any other tools to try the battery in or other batteries to try in the blower, that may help isolate the issue and shorten the time troubleshooting on the phone with Ego. Regardless, you are covered under warranty and will definitely want to call Ego.

Make sure your blower is registered before you call, and if you haven't already sent a copy of your receipt to Ego then you'll need to have that handy to verify the warranty coverage when you call.
