Hello. I handed over my lawn mower for warranty repair 2 weeks ago. Last Friday I called and was told it will be another 4-6 weeks. I need to mow my lawn immediately and will need to mow another 3-4 more times during that period. What am I supposed to do? Can someone from EGO help me out there? Thanks.

The only solution formulated on this board that I am aware of is to purchase another mower from HD and return it as allowed by their return policy.
It is certainly not the greatest, but HD has your mower in for repair and offers no loaner, what else are you supposed to do.

Thanks. I'm really hoping there's a more... elegant solution from EGO. Lawnmowers are such a time sensitive item.

I'm assuming you took it to your Home Depot for repair.  Have you contacted EGO customer service directly?  If not, contact them via:  https://egopowerplus.com/pages/contact-us.

From various comments/posts, it appears the repair process is "broken".  Either HD doesn't carry the necessary parts and/ have the expertise for some or most of the repairs, therefore have to order parts or send unit back to EGO for repair.  Not very conducive to good customer service.  Call/email EGO directly to elevate the issue.  More folks that do that rather the 'biting the bullet" and patiently waiting for weeks +, the better chance that EGO & HD may address the issue.

I have reached out to EGO. There is a customer service rep that's on my case but every time I call she is not at her desk and when she calls I am usually at work. It took over a week of phone tag to just to get to the point of me being told to bring it to Home Depot.

That's definitely "UNSAT"!
