So the Lawn Car Nut just did a review of the 21" SP mower.  He focused on cut height and cut quality vs. two of his gas mowers.  It would appear a very fair, methodical approach, and he claims to be un-sponsored which is nice to see.  In the end he gives it a very favorable score, but admits he needs more time with it to give a full final impression.

And since I had no idea he'd reviewed the 20" mower previously, here's that video.  This one WAS sponsored, but again he seems to do a pretty honest review of its abilities:

I used to watch his videos all the time when he lived in the Chicago area because we shared a climate, but I haven’t seen much of him since he moved to Florida. Thanks for posting those. I’m interested n hearing what he has to say.

The Lawn Care Nut just posted his follow up review of the 21-inch mower and came to some interesting conclusions: https://youtu.be/GPGK-WW9Luc

Just watched it.  With a light weight mower this totally makes sense, and almost seems like a good reason for Ego to consider putting the battery compartment farther forward to keep more weight on the front wheels.

It seems to me that some people a while back came to the same conclusion with the weight of the grass bag pulling down on the back of the mower and causing the front wheels to lift.

Cool to see a guy dedicated to cut quality looking into the mower and figuring out how to "fit in" to the mower and get it working with him the best way possible.

Very interesting.  I will have to try and mow active next time out and see if I notice any difference in the results. (the lawn and my 24" pythons)
