Large battery use with smaller tools

I own the Ego mower with the large 7.5Ah battery.  I know the literature says I can use this battery with any Ego tools, but will it be too heavy to easily use with a string trimmer or a leaf blower?

It’s a matter of personal preference, but I think most people would agree the largest battery is a bit heavy to be using for extended periods on the smaller handheld tools.

One of the smaller batteries can be had for a very small premium over the cost of buying a bare tool when you consider the kit price, and would be a good investment if smaller tools are in your arsenal.

I really like the balance of the 2.5 ah battery with my string trimmer, leaf blower, and hedge trimmer.

Thanks, you've validated what I had thought.  Eventually I'll buy a string trimmer and a blower and I'll buy one of them with a battery and the other as a "tool only".

FWIW I love my power-propelled mower and it does very well on a dense carpet of St. Augustine grass!
