How about a jump starter for a car? Should be a relatively simple application for the larger 7.5Ah battery

I have a feeling that those handheld Li-Ion jump starters put their battery cells through hell... 400A @ 12V is 4800W, or about 2.5X what Ego’s snowblower is designed to draw from two 4Ah or greater batteries. I somehow doubt this application would fit with Ego’s three year battery warranty. ;-)

I like this idea.  Make it a power station / jump starter / air compressor combination.

Jump starting a car might be hard on the battery but it's rare use and only for a few seconds in emergencies.

Can it have a Kurig side spout so I can get a cup of coffee.  Heck with the air compressor available it can make me a latte ;)

Great idea!  I woke up this morning thinking Ego should have one of these.

Most people I know that own a regular "Jump Box" use them so rarely that when they need it they find it is dead or not working (perhaps because they left it plugged into the wall for the last year).

Same for people that have the little handheld type, left in the glove box to cook all summer without a charge.

Yet I have been AMAZED by what those handheld units can do when properly maintained! Originally a skeptic, I have seen big trucks turned over that were dead as a door-nail.

An Ego solution would be ideal, separating the tool from the battery. I expect most Ego owners do properly maintain their batteries, and always have one or more that are ready to go!
