Is it just me or is there a lot of battery problems. I receive emails every day regarding EGO owners complaining about batteries?

I have four Ego batteries, two from early 2014 and two new ones. I had one issue with a battery, which worked fine in every tool except my new blower. Called Ego, quickly isolated the issue to the battery, not the blower, and had a replacement less than a week later. The 3 year warranty should give you peace of mind if you do have any concerns.

There have been a few isolated defects reported here, but Ego stands firmly behind their batteries and tools. I don't think there is any doubt these are among the best, if not the very best quality batteries in the industry.

The Internet has a tendency to exaggerate problems since people at far more likely to report a negative experience than a positive one.

I would imagine for every person with an issue on this page there are hundreds of problem free Ego owners.

So far my tools and batteries are good to go, no issues yet well into my second season with them. Four tools and three batteries. :-)

I have put my batteries through hell. lots of charges and discharges mowing my lot. Never had anything remotely weird happen.
Here is my lot in this video. No decrease in performance yet. https://youtu.be/vsar86i9Taw
