I'm beginning to hate EGO. :)

I first made the mistake of buying the mower earlier this year. EGO's build quality and performance forced me to fall in love with it. So much that my son and I fight over who gets to cut the grass. Then I walked into HD after my B&D Bush Hog 14" trimmer died looking for something unrelated. I just decided to take a walk through the Garden section. There is was looking all sleek and sexy hanging there on display. I couldn't resist the purchase right then and there. I picked up an extra spool too.
When I got it home I immediately put the 2.5ah battery on my quick charger as I unboxed and assembled the trimmer. I tried everything I could to stress the thing out, but it out performed my beloved bush hog and exceeded my expectations.
Now I'm looking for what my next EGO product or accessory will be. My wallet and I aren't on speaking terms at the moment. Now if you came out with a blower/vac also, then I will have an all EGO garage soon.
P.S. Hedge Trimmer...I'm coming for you next.

Yeah, after first getting the 21SP, I quickly ended up buying 4 more Ego products.  My fav of all 5 is the blower.  Also got the hedge trimmer, string trimmer, and even a 14" chain saw.  My bad.

I had to stop and laugh, because I found myself trying to find something to cut to justify buying the chainsaw.

When Amazon Prime had their PRIME Day, they had the EGO hedge trimmer for $99 without the battery and charger.  I was so close to buying this, since I had an extra 2.0 Ah battery, but could not sneak this purchase by the wife.  Now I wish I did because no one else had that price since then.

Wow! I didn't see that listing. I wish I did though.

My first EGO was the 15" trimmer, and like you, I FELL IN LOVE with this trimmer.  I baby it better than all my other power tools.  My 530 CFM is not bad either, so now I am saving money before buying their new snow blower.  If I can convince my wife why I need their new backpack leaf blower, even though I already own the 530 CFM, then I will be super happy - but I don't see myself winning that conversation.

I feel you. I'm already sneaking the boxes in through the garage door now.

I love the 15-inch trimmer too, although I love it even more with other brands of string on it (my current fave is Husqvarna's Titanium Force string).

The leaf blower is pretty amazing, too.

Next up for me will be the snow blower.

I will pick up a spool on Monday to try it out. Thanks.

20" mower, then 480 blower, then 15" string trimmer, then hedge trimmer, then 530 blower... now waiting for the snow blower. I could really do without the snow in my driveway all together, but I can't imagine a better way to get rid of it since dealing with it is mandatory up here. Can't wait!!!

Blue, since you own both the 480 and the 530, which one is better and why?  I know the 530 has great blower speed, as I own this one.  But curious about the 480 as I have an opportunity to pick one up for a "really" good price.

The 480 is still a great blower. The 530 is a little less bulky, a little lighter and a little easier to hold and use, basically a more refined version of the same tool with more power and bundled with a 25% larger battery.

The 480 pretty much created the segment of cordless electric turbine fan blowers, and now everyone and their dog is making one.

I had planned to give my 480 to my Mom, but she recently had a large tree in her back yard cut down and really won't have many leaves to deal with anymore. Now I'm not sure what I'll do with it, probably sell it.

I am in Chicago and there is no escaping snow every winter - which is why I am "salivating" on their new snow blower, even though I have an old gas snow blower.  With all this talk about yard work, I just made an excuse to go outside and weed wack my yard : )
