How can I estimate the run time of a 7.5 amp hour (or other eGo battery) when drawing a given number of watts, for example the maximum 150 watts?

That said; if we are using an average capacity of an iPhone at 11 Watt hours, then below is the calculation on how many times you can charge your iPhone using your 7.5 Ah battery and the new EGO Nexus Escape:

  • 7.5 Ah x 56V = 420 Watt hours
  • 420 Wh / 11 Wh = 38 charge cycles
Another example is the 13" Macbook averaging 54.5 Watt hours, see below the number of charge cycles you should get from the same 7.5 Ah battery:

  • 7.5 Ah x 56V = 420 Watt hours
  • 420 Wh / 54.5 Wh = 8 charge cycles
