    • 2.5 Ah Battery: 50-minutes
    • 4.0 Ah Battery: 80-minutes

That's with the standard charger. With the rapid charger these are the numbers:

  • 2.0 Ah Battery: 25 minutes
  • 2.5Ah & 4.0 Ah Battery: 30 minutes
  • 5.0 Ah Battery: 40 minutes
  • 7.5 Ah Battery: 60 minutes
I can say from my experience this is pretty accurate, even conservative.

I've not paid much attention to charge times primarily because I'm not depending upon the charge time to finish a job. I have a 2.5, 3 5.0 and a 7.5 Ah batteries and 2 rapid chargers and 1 standard charger. I simply swap out to finish while it's charging. Personal note to EGO fans; accumulate all the batteries your budget allows if you're a serious tool person by buying the kits for the most value.

I think knowing charge times as well as run times can be very important to know to help keep track of battery health. Too fast or too slow charging or too fast battery run time can be an indication a battery is about to fail.

True, if one has the time or wants to spend it doing that. It's like mpg on a vehicle; the only thing that concerns me is when it teaches 1/4 tank so that should fill up soon.

William, you're right. Why should I be concerned when my gas mileage drops from 30 mpg to 20 mpg (just an example) when all I have to do is wait for the gas light. LMAO.
