Just bought an EGO power string trimmer today, and I'm eager to get going...however, I cannot get the handle on. I'm not sure if I am missing some parts or what, but there is absolutely no way I can figure out how to get the screws to hold the two pieces together. Is the nut supposed to come off of the screw? I can't get it removed, and the directions don't indicate that it's necessary to do that. I can't even connect them when they are not on the shaft, so they really aren't working at all. I watched the YouTube video, and that doesn't help, either. Can anyone help?? Thanks!!

Something doesn't sound right. As I recall the handle comes as an assembly and you remove the 4 screws holding the upper part of the handle to the lower clamping part of the handle. Then just place the 2 pieces around the shaft and install the 4 screws.
But, yeah, maybe the nuts that are on the screws are the ones that are supposed to be in the clamp part of the assembly. A small wrench or pliers to grip the nut while turning the screw with the supplied hex wrench would probably get them apart.
Perhaps some pictures of what you are experiencing would help.
