Hi EGO, I've just purchase close to a full assortment of OPE tools of yours so far they are great!  I really Love them!

So I went to register my tools on your website and realized that Home Depot had sent models numbers of each tool purchased that doesn't match what they advertised on there website.  I contacted Home Depot and they are telling me the correct items have been shipped.  So...without thrusting my opinion into this yet and with giving Home Depot the benefit of the doubt I wanted to ask what the difference between the below model numbers are.

Unit / Model Purchased (Model Received)

Blower / LB5302B (LB5300)
Trimmer / ST1502-SB (ST1500-S)
Chainsaw / CS1604B (CS1600)
Hedger / HT2401B (HT2400)

I got a sweet deal and received the extra batteries!  Luck had me buy at the right time.  Home depot told me that the different model number has only to do with getting the extra battery.  This was hard to believe because you can buy a LB5302 on there website right now without the extra battery.

I guess I am assuming that the smaller number would be your first model and as you make small (or large) improvements that you would increment the number up as appropriate.  But this is not what Home Depot has told me.  They say even though it shows (example) LB5302 on the website that I was supposed to receive the LB5300.

I've babbled on enough.  Once again I really love your tools, they seem to be very good quality and very powerful.  My wife is even loving them!

The tools inside all four boxes are correct.

The last digit of the model numbers you ordered indicates that you purchased a kit, and the B at the end of each indicates they were bought during the bonus battery promotion. If you purchased the bare tool then the model number on your order would match the bare tool.

When you register your new tools, be sure you select the kit model number from your receipt so you will be prompted for the serial numbers from the battery and charger as well as the tool to register them all at once.
