I mowed a small section with bagger for first time and mower shut off after overload and will not start a day later. I have removed battery put a different battery in - fully collapsed mower and reassembled- Nothing will work just hear a click and flashes one green light and then the orange light

Patti, you’ll have to give Ego Customer Service a call, they’ll help you troubleshoot and get you fixed up. Try calling early in the morning to avoid long wait times.

I am having the same problem with my 21" SP. The Blade will spin for a split second, then stop, and blink orange for 10 seconds. Been having this problem for a week now. Occasionally, or very rarely, it will start and run normally until I release the handle, then the problem returns. Contacted customer support waiting for a call back now.

Orange light indicates an overload.  This generally occurs if you are trying to cut an overgrown area or hit a solid object with the blade.
Calling cuatomer service was the right thing to do.

Awesome. Wonder how ego decides to have you return mower to Home Depot vs sending out a replacement mower. This certainly fix the horror stories on this forum about weeks and weeks for homedepot to fix mower.
