I know only 1-EP7500 extension is recommended at one time, which makes sense for horizontal work.  However if I am just working vertically with the HTA2000 hedge trimmer (to top my very tall cedars), would it be OK to use two of the extensions under that scenario?

The manufacturer only intends one extension to be used.  No one from the company is going to tell you it is ok for you to use 2 in your particular situation.

Any variation form the manufacturers recommendations are at your own risk and void warranties.
I think the above applies to 100% of companies and 100% of their products.

Official Response
Ryan, I’m sure it would work, however any shortcomings in performance, any impact on ergonomics and any damages done to the equipment would be your responsibility. Warranty claims may or may not be honored.

Extremely top heavy.  Can easily lose control and present a very dangerous situation.  Best to get on a ladder instead.
