Happy with waranty replacement (Self Propel drive unit)

The self propel unit on my 21" mower failed (for the 2nd time) 9 months after it was replaced under warranty by Home Depot (who took my mower for 5 weeks). I was dreading going through the same procedure again, but ended up much happier with how Ego customer service handled the issue.

This time when I called (3:30 on a Friday afternoon) I had only a 7 minute hold time before reaching Eva.  She had a few questions, noted that this was the 2nd time a self propel unit had failed on me, and after a brief hold, offered to ship out a replacement mower to me in 5-10 business days.  [I have to take the defective mower back to HD for recycling after removing the serial number sticker.]

This is a MUCH more convenient solution. I can continue to sweat a lot pushing my mower around (only the self propel unit failed) to keep the lawn trimmed until the new mower shows up, and I don't have to hire a yard company to cut my lawn until home depot gets around to repairing my mower.

So, I just wanted to say that the hold time was very reasonable and the mower replacement is much better than having to wait for home depot's service department.
