Worked great until we had a huge snow storm that left between 8 to 12 inches in my driveway.
The snow was wet and heavy. I had a hard time pushing through it and felt like I was shoveling rather than blowing.
On top of that, the plows left 10 to 14 inches of snow at the end of my driveway. I ended up hurting my back trying to clear this mess.

I have their lawn mower that I purchased in December for this spring, and now am considering returning it also. Most youtube videos seem positive about the lawn mower.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Frank.
Need to have the right tool for the job and that storm sounds like it was beyond the normal operating parameters of the ego and many other single stage snow blowers.

I wouldn't let that experience influence your decision on the mower.  How big is you yard ?  Which mower and which battery do you have ?   What type of grass is your lawn - blue grass mix ?
These are the things that will determine if the mower is right for your yard.
