There really needs to be gutter attachment for the blowers. I just got the 530 cfm blower a week or so ago and I would love to see the attachment. I know for a fact just from talking to people about them that you would sell a lot more blowers if you made one and you would sell a ton of the attachments to the people that already own the blowers.

You could fabricate it from pvc straight pipe and a couple of elbows...:)

I believe there's SOB that will fit, but I think it would be great to have an EGO branded gutter accessory for the blowers.

Has anyone here tried the Worx universal gutter cleaning attachment? https://www.amazon.com/Worx-WA4092-Universal-Cleaning-Blowers/dp/B00EU6H4RW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&q...

I bought the Worx thing.  The soft (not rigid) connection means you effectively have to hold both the blower and the extension at the same time.  It's awkward, and even more so if you're trying to reach up a bit.

Here's hoping Ego makes us a nice rigid one.  I'll happily buy it.

the crud that builds up during the summer months here (NO RAIN for months) cannot be removed by a blower.  I have to either use a high-pressure water spray or scrape it out.  It's like dry mud.  Leaves aren't my problem here other than a few that gather at the downspouts.

At least the crud, usually shingle grit, doesn't cover the downspout openings like leaves do. Nothing like seeing your gutters overflowing, dragging out the ladder, getting up there and seeing a layer of wet, packed leaves completely blocking the downspout opening. At least the leaves can be blown out to keep that opening clear.

Usually, when I clean the gutters is the day that (and the MOMENT that) the rain is the heaviest.  As soon as I put the ladder away after cleaning all gutters, the rain lets up and the sun comes out.  :)

The good news is that I have a rainsuit.

Nice find - awesome that there is now one made to fit the Ego blowers.  No need to use an adjustable SOB.

I hope 8' of tubes don't reduce the air speed so much that it become ineffective as does the several accessories I have for vacuums.  When used, their crevice tools reduce the ability of the vac to pick up much of anything, despite the vac having great suction otherwise.

It shouldn't affect too much.  Adding length to a blower is different than adding length to a vacuum.  Vacuums (pumps in general) have limited length of effective suction head.  Output on the other hand, is usually much greater.  A little rusty on my fluid dynamics, or i'd run the formulas for you.

Yeah, I was kinda thinking that was the case and hoped someone such as yourself would set me straight.  :)
