Bought the 15" trimmer kit in early May and the battery died on me about a week ago after only 2 months and maybe 5 uses. Called the customer support line just now, waited only about 15 minutes to talk to a representative, and am getting a new battery delivered to me hassle-free. Wish it wouldn't have died in the first place but kudos to Ego for great customer support!
