Mower seems to work great. Only negative is that the grass keeps getting all built up and stuck so it cant shoot out the rear. Happens all the time. Is anyone else seeing this. Im going to have to return the mower if I cannot find a solution.

Are you using the side discharge chute or the bagger?

Have you tried mulching your grass? This would surely fix any side or rear discharge problem you may be having. :-)

How much grass are you attempting to cut at once? Meaning are you only trying to remove an inch, or more, at a time? Also, is the grass dry when you are cutting it? Another thing, have you removed the mulch plug? Verify the blade is installed correctly. There are words on the blade saying one side should face the grass. Make sure that side is facing the grass.
If it's just buildup during mowing, it's good to clean the underside of the mower after each mow and if the grass is wet you might have to do it once during a mowing session. Be sure to remove the battery before working around the underside.

The grass is only supposed to discharge out the rear if you are using the bagger. Otherwise, if not bagging, the mulch plug s/b inserted in that opening. With the plug in place a little grass might collect back there. After two years we swept out a tiny pile when we swapped the blade. we never thought to look back there before that. Obviously it wasn't enough to cause any sort of problem that was noticeable.
