My battery is fully charged, I mowed about three rows and the motor died. Light is still green, and it restarts every time I push in the key and pull the bar. However as soon as I push it on to the grass again, it dies.

That handle bar clip issue?

Is your mower manufacture date before December 2014?  From my  understanding, there is a new clip design and you can get it at N/C if you call customer service.

Not sure if "clip" is the right term.  Search the Forum here.

Official Response
Hi 'C'! Thank you for your post and we are sorry to hear your mower keeps shutting off. RoboMO is correct; if you have tried all of the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this thread: https://community.egopowerplus.com/ego/topics/my_mower_isnt_starting we can definitely send you new handle locking clamps which would solve this issue you are having. I see that you have created an account with us online; however you did not add a phone number to your account. If you could either send an email to support@egopowerplus.com with your contact number so that one of our EGO specialists can get back to you; -or- give us a call back at 855-346-5656 today and we can assist you further.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled My mower will not stay running..

My mower will not stay running. It starts, runs for about 3 -4 seconds, then stops. When I release the bail switch lever and then re-engage the lever, the mower starts again, and then shuts off. All safetys are in place and the battery is fully charged. Any ideas?
