EGO Power + MHCC1002E Multi-Tool Kit - I am just using the pole saw at the moment and periodically, when pulling the trigger, the power comes on for a fraction of a second and then dies. The battery light flashes red but it is fully charged. If I release the battery and re-insert it works fine. Any ideas?

Official Response
Perhaps check the battery terminals for cleanliness and if they are loose. Also check the battery terminal slots in the power head to see if they have any sort of debris in them.

Possibly overloading the battery if you're "forcing" the cut or your chain/bar oil is empty.

Thanks Mike.  The power head is new so wasn't sure this would be the issue but I did clean the contacts and have used it today without any problems.  Many thanks!

Hoping that's all it was.
