My mower is two seasons old.  My battery now gives a flashing orage indication immediatly off the charger and it will not start the mower.  When I place it in the charger, it indicates it has a full charge, but when I place it in the mower, it flashes orange, immediatly without starting the mower. What is wrong?

Mine was actually doing the same and Ego is sending me a warranty replacement; however I cooled down the battery by putting it in the freezer for a while, about an hour, and it started to work just fine.

You Probably should not put a battery in a freezer.

Why not?  It worked.  Actually the first time it happened, I placed it over an air vent that was pumping out cool air and that worked too.

If the issue is with a temperature sensor reading too high, cooling the battery can get it working as a temporary fix. The fridge is probably the better choice as it cannot cool the battery to below freezing, but either will work.
