I have the ego+ mower, (1 year old) the battery seems to be having technical difficulties. It appears to charge well as indicated on the charger. Once inserted into mower, which is cleaned after each use the battery light flashes orange. The last mow I was able to complete the yard but allowed times for breaks. This time the battery has remained with the flashing orange light. Is there a quick fix or is it the battery

Your mower has a 5 year warranty and the battery a 3 year warranty. Sounds like a call to EGO CS is in order. Call early in the day to try and avoid hold times.

They can be reached at 1-855-EGO-5656 (1-855-346-5656) from 8:30AM - 8:00PM EST (Monday - Friday) & 10:00AM - 6:00PM EST (Saturday & Sunday).

Of you have another tool to test the battery that would identify whether it's the battery or mower.

Had the flashing orange issue before on multiple batteries, ultimately Ego will replace it if you can send a video or something showing the issue. Quick fix is to give it a quick wack and see if the light turns green. It says it is a temperature malfunction, I assume it is a loose connector that failed. Id wack it AFTER taking a video of the issue and see if it helps. Good luck!

I'm having the same issue. Ego asked me to take the mower to HD, which asked for a $28 diagnostics fee and said it would take one month minimum to look at it. Has anyone been successful taking videos of this issue for a faster warranty claim? I don't want to be without a lawnmower for the summer.
