Recently purchased the snowblower with the two 7.5Ah batteries. We received about an inch of wet, heavy snow this evening and I wanted to try the blower out on my flat concrete driveway and sidewalks. With the variable auger speed adjuster pushed all the way forward (fastest setting), the snow blower would only throw about 2-3 feet when angling the chute to the left or right and maybe 3-4 feet of distance when aiming the chute straight ahead. I've taken a scan through some other posts that mention others have experienced similar results, but haven't seen anything on a consensus on if this is to be expected and what the minimum threshold or conditions are for getting a better throwing distance. Clearing our front sidewalk (lined with shrubs on 1 side) would require two passes due to the sidewalk width. The first pass moved the snow onto the uncleared portion of the sidewalk and then the second pass moved it all into the lawn. I was expecting a bit more distance but wonder if this is just due to circumstance (heavy snow and not much of it). Any help and insights (heck, even a link to another thread where I'm sure this is fully addressed) is appreciated.
