Bought my new EGO backpack leafblower from HD, and immediately put this new tool to the test. Since the unit came with a "standard" charger, I use it to charge the 5.0 Ah battery. Since I also own an EGO 15" string trimmer, I now have a good understanding of how a "standard" charger should sound when charging a battery.
Long story short, the backpack blower's charger was making a "louder than normal" sound when charging the 5.0 Ah battery. So I contacted Customer Service and spoke to Jorge - he was very professional, supportive and got me a replacement charger. This type of Customer Service support is hard to find these days, so my "hat" off to EGO and a loud "shout out" to Jorge - thanks for all you do, and keep up the great job !!!!
