electric wheelbarrow

  • Under Consideration
I'm looking for an electric wheelbarrow on the EGO platform. I love my other EGO equipment (mower, trimmer, blower). But there is no good solution to the moving mulch/gravel/patio stones/etc issue. I get a load dropped off at my house in front, but then i have to 1. fill the wheelbarrow (this is the hardest part). 2. trudge the wheelbarrow over to where i need it (2nd hardest especially after doing it 50 times) and 3. dump the wheelbarrow.

But I don't have a farm, so a tractor/front loader/etc is waay too much. Something for a normal homeowner with less than one acre.

It would be nice to have an electric cart/wheelbarrow to handle this scenario. Something like what i see from overland carts or the 40V greenworks one. That said, I still don't think anyone has solved #1 problem well. Ideally i should be able to easily just push mulch from the big pile in to the cart/wheelbarrow. Somehow this means allowing the cart to adjust itself so it can lie flat on the ground and open up to allow me to push the mulch/etc inside the cart.

I hope you can take a look at this idea! thanks!

Yeah those prices are quite high. And I still think no one really has solved #1 for small scale mulch loading. Either way a solution to this especially on the ego platform would be way cool.

Magliner at https://www.magliner.com/product/powe... has a sturdier wheel barrow . Mine can carry about 12 cu. ft. of material. It has dualities in the front and two wheels in the back.

My cart also tilts. I wish it was 56v instead of 24v. However, it can still carry about 450 lbs.

Paint it green and stick an Ego battery on it and I’d be all over that!!!

Many of these loos like they would work fine on solid ground (like the pavers as in the picture),  Not sure they would get thru a garden of soft soil.
