So check out Ego's commercial tool lineup set to be released in the UK:

https://egopowerplus.co.uk/products/commercial/

With other companies releasing similar systems here in North America it would be sweet to see this become available!  A real boon for lawn care pros and large property owners!

Still a one year warranty...go figure. Not competitive with Sthyl, Greenworks or Echo.

With the cost of batteries though that backpack blower will probably be a 2nd mortgage or more appealing to commercial companies. Just guessing by how much the 7.5ah battery cost.

If I were to have those sweet looking things, I would wear them as clothing accessories also. Seriously the coolest looking OPE on this planet.

Interesting that the tools look like they are designed to work exclusively with the back back and not an ego battery.

1,000 pounds for the BAX 1500 which is $1,350

That’s why I was thinking most homeowners wouldn’t be interested unless they have real larg me property or small farm type land. That’s a lot of pocket change haha.

Blue said a adapter to hook up more then one battery on the backpack link would be a good idea. I think that would be appealing to a lot of home owners!

This commercial line works with the backpack link as well, so we could use our existing batteries.

The plug that goes into the dummy battery plugs directly into the commercial tools.

So the plug that goes into the dummy battery is the same as the plug that goes directly into the tool ?

Makes sense.  Then you can use either back pack with any of the tools.

That’s certainly the way it looks to me.

i don't like that the hedge trimmer is corded per se.  I went to a battery hedge trimmer so I would stop cutting cords

The cord is so short you would probably never cut it.

Probably have a better chance of cutting your arm off before ever cutting the cord.

It will cut arms up to 1” diameter. :-P
