EGO S/P 50cm leaking grass from the right hand side

I have an EGO S/P 50cm which I purchased in June. It has cut well but just recently has started to leak grass from the right hand side; any idea why? I did hit a drain cover which may have slighly nudged the blade but on inspection it appears to have had no effect on its position or shape. There are no signs of any damage to the mower deck or the grass box.  Would it make a difference sharpening the blade maybe?
Thanks.  David

From what I have found out sharpening the blade would be a good first step since they say the blade is soft steel and dulls quickly. I had to replace my blade after 1 season.

Thanks. I will try this. Also I have just had another look at the blade and it may be just a millimetre or two out of alignment (when I hit a draincover) which I guess may have been responsible.

I am not sure if this applies to your model but on mine I sometimes forget to replace the plastic insert when I switch from bagging to mulching. If you forget to replace the plastic part the mower will leave a small trail of clippings on the right hand side.

Thanks. But I haven’t yet use the mulching insert so unlikely to be that.

I have the same problem. The grass leaking from the right front corner/right side when bagging, the the bagging is almost like mulching. Where do we have the blade get sharpened or aligned?
