EGO R&D here's something to consider on the new snowblower.

Could be a future update/retrofit for the Ego snowblower to do something like this. Another manufacturer of a single stage unit has extra "shredder" bars on the single stage auger padle. While doing some frozen snow banks the plow left tonight I couldn't help but think this would really help break up frozen snow/ice.

Also useful if you just want to plain scare the ---- out of your neighbors!  (The blood red color may have something to do with it...)

My little SnoJoe could have used something similar, there were a few "chunks" in the plow pile that sent a shockwave right through the whole machine, and a couple that refused to break up requiring me to remove them by hand.  I won't lie... I kinda want to break this thing. :-)

Blue Angel, I think the blood red color does it haha.

Jacob, brigs and stratton/snapper. It's called SnowShredder Serated auger. Gives me ideas on swapping augers if possible, or ordering a extra auger and modifying it

SnowShredder is patented by Briggs & Stratton.  EGO would have to license it, or risk getting sued.  Something to consider...

Obviously, but the point was to get the idea to EGO to give this single stage an advantage to help the rubber padles. I'm sure they could figure something out.

True.  Snapper uses them too (though that particular series using Briggs & Strat motors anyway).  But I agree - that would really give EGO an additional advantage over the competition and keep with their premium brand image...

I used my advanced degree in engineering and autoCAD software to render this advanced  prototype....it can be done...it will be done...

@Jennifer VandeWater Well if EGO ever wants to consider this idea and get a prototype I'd be willing to install it on my machine and try it here in Minnesota winter!
