II was just watching KiteArmy reviews of EGO and other stuff and found my way to Snappervand seen they offer a 82v XD line.

Curious I took a look and seen they only offer up to a 5.0ah battery, I still think EGO probably has the leading battery runtime.

I seen they had a self propelled utility yard cart, and a snow shovel, then I was surprised to see a cultivator!

I know these have been asked for on here and now I’m excited to see what EGO comes out with this summer and next! The battery powered lawn care market seems to be heating up!

Yep, the heat is on!  When Ego hit the scene in 2014 there was very little to choose from in the way of high performing battery OPE.  Four years later and things have changed... pretty much every company has woken up and seen the way things are going; if it runs on gas it can be replaced by battery powered equipment.

Larger stuff like riding mowers will take a while to get competitive, due mainly to the high price of their huge batteries.  But pretty much anything else that's held or pushed by hand (and even most things self-propelled) are game, and are currently seeing battery development.

Ego, you have the best battery platform and you've dominated the handheld and mower categories since you (arguably) created them.  We have enough blowers, trimmers and whackers.  Let's see what else we can come up with that will expand the lineup and keep new customers coming!

It must be said that Home Depot is a HUGE part of this picture as well.  If they're not buying, Ego ain't building.  It's all about retail shelf space...
