This is the first time I've bought an EGO product and I've been running into problems. The blower in question was purchased new from the hardware store yesterday. After charging the battery to full it ran about 10 minutes on High (with periodic turbo bursts) before stalling. Thinking I hadn't charged it enough I let the battery sit in the charger overnight. Today I'm having the same problem.

Here is a walkthrough of the problem. When charging, the battery shows a blinking green light on the charger and rotating color on the battery. After charging, the charger light is a solid green and the battery LED is uncolored (but turns solid green when pressed). After about 5-10 minutes of use on high (with periodic turbo) the blower stalls, and the battery light turns red when pressed. I can run the blower at about 15-30 second intervals before the problem repeats itself.

After letting the blower sit idle for 10 minutes and pressing the battery light again, it shows a solid green. It seems like the battery / blower may be overheating, but 10 minutes on high doesn't seem like enough time to cause such a problem.

Note: I am using the EGO 480 CFM 3-Speed Turbo 56-Volt Lithium-ion Cordless Electric Blower with the standard battery and charger included in-box (which I think is a 2a).

Please help, I am very frustrated with this product!
