I have a question about the difference between the EGO 14" and 16" chainsaws - Are they truly different size motors or the same? Second question - Can I swap out the 14" bar for the 16"? The two saws look virtually the same from the photos, and the only difference in the specs is the 14" runs at 6300 RPM and the 16" runs at 6800 RPM, which doesn't necessarily tell me anything about the motor drive size or power. Someone tried to answer the "How many amps?" question, and said 2.5 Ah, which is actually the battery rating (Rated ti deliver 2.5 amps for one hour at full charge), and not the motor power. I have changed bar sizes on my Stihl 026 a couple of times depending on the application, and was just wondering if I could do the same with my 14" EGO 1400 chainsaw without any problem.....Thanks.

Hi Kenneth! The 14" chain saw has the same motor as the 16" chain saw. The only difference between the two is the bar length.
