Edger? Stand alone or multi-tool?

Is the EGO edger only sold as a multi-tool system? I'd rather have a stand-alone device, as all my other EGO tools are stand-alone. And where can I actually buy one? No dealers here seem to carry them.

Here you go.

I have one and am really liking it. It cuts a nice clean line and seems plenty powerful enough.

Note that if you buy it at HD.com and it has a problem or you just want to return it for some reason you can do it all through your local HD store. Just be sure to register it when you get it along with uploading any sort of receipt you get with it.

Here's a link to the tool on HomeDepot.com: https://www.homedepot.com/p/EGO-56-Volt-Lithium-ion-Cordless-Power-Head-Edger-Kit-Multi-Head-Edger-A...

It's available as a bare tool, or with a 2.5Ah battery or 5.0Ah battery.

It seems like HD doesn't carry these in stores, but they'll ship it to a store near you or directly to your home.

Sorry, I'm confused. Isn't Mike taking about a stand alone tool, but Ken's link is to the Power Head?

You are correct (not confused).  Ego offers both options for an edger.  Stand alone tool or as part of the multihead system.
