Recently I posed a question about durability and HDs customer service.  I received two replies and it seems the post has been deleted.  Is there something to hide?  I like this mower and will probably purchase one.  However it concerns me that comments and posts are removed for whatever reason.

Jeff, if you click your user name you'll get a window like this:

If you click on "View Profile" you'll see all your activity.  Your post shows up there.

I also tried doing a search for the word "Fragile", "Iffy" and "Gas Unit" from your post title and it's the first hit.

Hi Jeff, as both Allen and Blue mentioned, we don't delete comments without telling you about it. We only delete comments if you post offensive language or things of that nature. You get an alert when it's been deleted by us as well.

Thanks; I was unaware of the feature they pointed out, and I could not find it,  I have used sites that will delete posts THEY deem "in-appropiate",  ie don't slam the product or managment.

I didn't even have to search for Jeff's post. It's right there on the main page. As of this writing it's the 10th post down because no one has posted in it since SCDC did yesterday. But it's there:
