Vincent. How old is the battery.

How do you know it's losing charge?

The answer is absolutely not. It's best to store lithium batteries at 40% to 50% charge.
However leaving them on the charger will Not initiate a charge sequence. The battery needs to be removed and reinserted, or charger lose power for a little while.

Otherwise it's just going to sit in the charger doing nothing.

Hope this helps

If the battery is losing charge, like it's voltage reading drops below 56 while sitting off or on the charger, and continues to drop, then you have a bad battery

Also keep in mind that after 30 days the battery goes it to self discharge mode to preserve battery life. It will drop to I think 40%.
