This is not a new idea but I really want to emphasize the importance of having dethatching blade for the EGO mower. Although this is really an expensive machine, I still bought this machine because of all the neat features. To the EGO team: You can definitely make this machine even more attractive if you can include accessories like the dethatching blade specifically for this mower. Please seriously consider this improvement.

All. Of course this might void warranty, but you can buy the dethatching blade insert pieces. Sears sells them. Just drill some holes in the blade, and insert dethatching pieces. There are also spring types. Its not rocket science.

If you do this be VERY Careful of the balance issues as crankshaft damage and other issues can occur from this.
