I have an electrical sharpener (Buffalo Tools ECSS) and it requires that chain has to be positioned at angle recommended by manufacturer.
What degree is it? 16" blade

There are a couple of different angles mentioned on pages 41 - 43 in the chainsaw manual. There's 30 degrees for part of it and 55 degrees for another part of it.

I have used 30 degrees and a hand file with angle guide.  When filing I count the strokes to keep things even on all teeth.  If the chain isn't cutting straight, I replace it rather than doing the massive filing your  machine can do.
