I purchased my new e-go 56 volt mower at Home depot in June of 2014 and it has run like a top untill this afternoon. Battery is fully charged, rail clamps are in place. Pressed key and ingaged handle bar. Motor started and then at about 1/2 speed it died. Nothing. Blade spins freely, checked rails and key still nothing............what to do next????

That sounds like a good question to call and ask Ego while they are open tomorrow. Probably a warranty claim, but I'd love to know what happened whenever you have it figured out.

Hi Hank! Thank you for your post and we are sorry for the delay in getting back to you, as we were closed for the Holiday weekend. We would really like to help you out with this issue you are having with your mower, but I do not see that you have registered your mower kit in our database. If you could either give our customer support center a call at your convenience, at (855) 346-5656; we are open until 8pm ET today and throughout the week. Or, if you would send us an email to with your phone number, one of our EGO specialists will call you back today. Please have the serial numbers off of your mower, battery, and charger ready when calling (or include them in your email) so we can register you as well.
