I bought a 56V String Trimmer @2 years ago. Shortly after purchase I had issues with it and EGO sent me a whole new one (including battery and charger). I used it for the rest of the season no problem. I used it lightly last summer as well.

I got the string trimmer out of storage yesterday; one battery was dead (not able to hold a charge) so I charged the second battery. It worked fine for 3 charges and now it's dead too. How long should a battery last? I had two brand new batteries when I bought it and put less than 15 hrs on them (collectively) in the first year, and less than that last year. To me, they are relatively new and I'm not keen at having to buy a new one if it is only going to last a few hours!
