Spoke with Joe after about 10 minutes on hold.  Joe answered the phone and did not give his name.  Only after I asked, he told me his name was Joe.  I said hi and introduced myself, to which I received the response, with attitude of how can I help you.  He was on speaker phone and even one of my associates shot a look over because he could believe the attitude.

We are very sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your phone call yesterday. We always strive to do our best for the customer and make sure that they are taken care of to the best of our ability. We do ask that customers also understand as the spring season arrives, our call volume drastically increases, and because of this, we need to become a bit more efficient with our time on each phone call in order to take care of each customer calling in. Efficient means that your issue has been heard, understood, and the issue has been resolved. We do apologize if you did not receive a merry hello and his name, but we will certainly follow up with Joe further to understand more about this call.
