It's time for a Commercial mower powered by the Commercial Backpack Battery. Different size decks with motorized deck height adjustment. Push/Self propelled with zero turn ability front wheels. Riding mower, same power source.

Interesting ideas. I'm not sure I'd want to be tethered to a mower with the backpack for whatever reasons, but I could be convinced to try it. :D

I'm thinking the battery would be connected to the mower and not the user. Can be placed on top of the mower and power transferred by a short cable. Instead of having the setup the mowers have for the current battery location.

Not sure their battery technology is to the point of powering a riding mower for a sufficient time given the potential weight of the mower and rider.

I agree. It might work with a residential-grade mower but I don't see it being practical yet for a commercial riding mower.

The present push and self propelled mowers work fine in commercial lawn care. But one built on commercial specs would be better. The new Commercial battery on its way for 2019 could take the Electric Mowers game to a new dimension. Ego, take a look at the Pellenc smart mower.

Ego has a line of commercial mowers in the UK and is bringing some commercial products to the U.S. in 2019. But I'm saying a commercial riding mower may not be practical with current battery technology.
