I just got my LM2001 the other night. I went to try it out on some 3-4 inch dry grass. I had just fully charged the battery, removed the mulch insert, and installed the side discharge insert. The clippings just drop on the ground at the exit to the chute. It just leaves a neat 1-2 inch wide row right at the end of the chute. I had the height set at the medium setting. What am I doing wrong?

Official Response
Hi Charles, keep us posted on your findings after your rain stops.  We also agree with the previous comments that mulching is generally preferable for this mower.  The blade is even designed to be an optimal mulching blade.  Welcome to the EGO family.  We're so pleased that you (and your wife) are pleased with your new purchases.  We don't think you'll be disappointed.
