Charging Battery When Not In Use

Do people keep their battery in the charging cradle when not in use?

I personally do not, but there is no reason you can't. Just be aware that if the battery sits for longer than one month without use it will self discharge to 30% capacity. This is its long term storage mode, and will take place even if the battery is sitting in the charger.

If that happens, just remove and re-insert the battery to fully charge before use.
