Charger for 530 CFM Blower blinks red and green -- doesn't charge battery...

I have been calling customer service 15+ times over 2 weeks... I wait on hold for 20 minutes, then hang up... Per the instructions I (repeatedly) hear while on hold, I am instructed to submit my 'case' online... I did that a week ago, and have gotten no response...

FYI: I have been on hold for 22 minutes while writing this...

Ego really seems to be slammed during the peak of the season. They need to hire more CSRs. But people seem to have better luck if they call early in the day, soon after Ego opens. It seems to be much more hit or miss by the middle of the day when they get busy.

If you can, give that a try.

I had that same problem with a charger, but I fixed it myself by taking it apart, not finding the problem, then putting it back together and then slamming the battery hard onto the charger, and it has been working since then.  That was two or three months ago.  

Don't do that if you want EGO warranty though.
