Charger fails after 3 uses. Customer Service FAILS miserably on 1st attempt.

My charger fails after 3 uses.  No lights no nothing.  Tried it in 3 different outlets on 3 different circuits.  My battery seems fine ... still has some juice in it and will start the mower but definitely not enough to mow my lawn.  I call support on the 3/24/16.  Decent conversation, I provide proof of purchase and ask for 2nd day shipping on replacement charger since my grass is growing quickly (18 straight days of rain in NoVA, hard to keep it in check).  Ego CSR is reluctant to do 2nd day but will speak with manager about it.  It's now 6/3/16 and nothing has arrived.  I call back this evening after work and find out that not only did they decide to not go with 2nd day shipping, but they have done literally nothing....absolutely NOTHING!!!!!   My request for a replacement charge has gone NOWHERE.  I'm told that I still can't have 2nd shipping now even after their massive failure and it will be 7-10 more business days.  I think the have a production line problem and don't have GOOD replacement chargers.  BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

I had an issue with mine, which did short out the fuse on my battery. I resodered a new fuse in on the circuit panel board and fixed the battery issue. I had to replace that charger for a new one.

I'm DEFINITELY no apologist for EGO, or any other company, but have you ever checked the price on second day shipments??  Having said that, I see no reason why you can't get a replacement in less than a week.

If you need a battery charger replacement to get you back mowing again....Ebay lists

many new ones for as little as 10 bucks.  I bought one as an extra to keep for this reason.

It works perfectly.  Good Luck!

Hi David, we looked into this for you.  Looks like the dates are a little off on when you first called (5/24 vs. 3/24).  Regardless, the fact that your order wasn't placed the first time is unacceptable and we made a mistake.  When you spoke to Jorge on Friday, you actually hung up before he could confirm that a replacement battery and charger are on their way to you.  Jorge will be calling you today to confirm this over the phone with you.  Please accept our apologies and thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.  We'll be in touch before the end of the day today.

Its now the morning of 6/11/2016.  Still no charger.  But I did get the water bottle, t-shirt, and hat with the EGO logo splashed all over.  Gee Wiz thanks.
